    Organotin patterning compositions have radiation sensitive ligands with acetal functional groups. Precursor compositions are compositions comprising (OR)(OR)RCRSnL, where the R groups are substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbyl groups and L is a hydrolysable ligand. The precursors can be formed into coating that can be patterned with radiation, in particular EUV radiation. Coatings formed with blended precursors with hydrocarbyl-based ligands with some having acetal groups and others lacking acetal groups can be particularly effective for improving positive tone patterning.

    A self-disinfecting system can include a cladding having a flexible body that conforms to a substrate. The germicidal irradiation means can employ germicidal radiation from one or more locations within the body or the substrate to disinfect the cladding. The photocatalytic disinfection means can employ excitation radiation to produce reactive oxygen species using a photosensitizer incorporated into one or more polymeric layers of the body or a coating thereover to disinfect the cladding. The chemical disinfection means can employ a chemical disinfectant incorporated into the one-or-more polymeric layers of the body to disinfect the cladding.

    A computer-implemented method for scattered radiation correction, comprises: receiving a plurality of projection images mapping an object; receiving or determining a virtual three-dimensional reference image mapping the object; determining at least one scattering model; subtracting the at least one scattering model from the projection images to determine corrected projection images; determining a corrected medical image as a function of the corrected projection images; comparing the corrected image with the virtual reference image; and checking whether an abort criteria is met. If the abort criteria is met, then the corrected medical image is provided. If the abort criteria is not met, then the at least one scattering model is adapted and the method is repeated based on the adapted scattering model.
