The radiation source 3, the detector 4, and the measurement chamber 6 are arranged so that at least part of the radiation propagates along a route passing through the measurement chamber 6. The sensor 1 further includes a casing 7, in which the radiation source 3, the detector 4, and the measurement chamber 6 are arranged. The sensor 1 includes a contact surface 8 that can be directed toward a measurement part. The sensor 1 still further includes at least one gas access channel 9 that allows the gas to move to the measurement chamber 6 from the contact surface 8.
