    A method for interpreting nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) logging measurements includes acquiring NMR logging measurements in a horizontal or near horizontal wellbore. A radial response function for the NMR logging tool is acquired and used in combination with the acquired NMR logging measurements to interpret a subterranean formation model including at least two layers. The radial response function may be estimated by computing contribution coefficients from a first derivative of NMR measurements made at a plurality of fluid levels in a fluid tank.

    The disclosure provides a system and method for absorbing clean heat, storing it at ambient temperature for transport or delayed use, and regenerating with high exergetic efficiency. The system and method can capture high quality heat at high temperatures from a source such as nuclear, concentrated sunlight, or geothermal, store that energy in chemical bonds at ambient temperature, and regenerate the heat at the same or similar temperatures. By storing at ambient temperature, the process allows heat to be transmitted over great distances or held long term with minimal losses. The chemical reaction uses the Boudouard reaction with metal carbonate and catalyst to generate a higher heat than a typical Boudouard reaction. The sensible heat that is lost in conventional steam piping by heat transfer to the environment can be reduced or replaced with the present invention that transports chemical heat at ambient temperatures with little sensible heat loss.

    The present invention relates to an electromechanical machine for transforming animal skin into leather that consists of a machine intended to be involved in one or more steps of the transformation process for transforming any animal skin into leather. The machine is characterised in that it comprises a main tank (1), where the skins (3) are submerged in a liquid with one or more additives, which is referred to as syrup (2), an impeller-suction motor pump (4), which circulates the syrup (2) through an outlet pipe (5), until it reaches a directional valve (5.1) that directs the syrup (2) towards one or more filters (6) that, preferably, are slow sand filters, decanters, sedimentation tanks, disinfecting filters by ozone or UV-C ultraviolet radiation, zeolite filters, activated carbon filters, anthracite filters, silica filters, silver stone filters or a copper ioniser, and towards a heater (7) or a bypass (5.3) to arrive at a group of storage vats (8), equipped with opening/closing valves (5.2) after passing through directional valves (5.1). The syrup (2) is then stored in order to subsequently be discharged into the main tank (1) through the return pipe (5.4). The machine is equipped with a gear motor (9), which delivers its power through a rotary shaft (10), at the end of which a clamp (13) is mounted opposite another identical clamp (13), which is mounted on a sliding shaft (11) with a fixed stop (15.1) securely connected to the main tank (1) and a movable stop (15), which is securely connected to said sliding shaft (11), between the stops of which a helical spring (14) is installed, this spring exercising control on an inverter device (16) when its length changes in order to condition the rotation direction of the gear motor (9). The machine has a programmable central computer that exercises control depending on the characteristics required for each skin in relation to colour, tanning type, oils, fixing agents, among others.
