    One or more example embodiments relates to a method for controlling a computed tomography system, the method comprising defining an examination region of an examination object; defining a number of interfering structures, wherein an interfering structure is a structure located within a beam path of the computed tomography system and reflects or absorbs X-ray radiation with a strength outside of a tolerance range; calculating beam paths of X-rays of a CT examination of the examination region and ascertaining interference angle ranges of a gantry of the computed tomography system at which the beam paths run through the interfering structure and the examination region; carrying out a CT scan while the gantry rotates, and recording CT data; reconstructing an image dataset from CT data of the recorded CT data excluding the ascertained interference angle ranges; and outputting the image dataset.

    The invention relates to the field of transposases In particular, it provides a polypeptide comprising or consisting of a Tc1/mariner superfamily transposase, e.g., a Sleeping Beauty transposase, which comprises a nuclear export signal and a chaperone-mediated autophagy signal. The transposases of the invention were found to exhibit reduced half-life and thus enhanced biosafety. The invention further provides a sequence-optimized RNA comprising a 5'UTR and a 3'UTR that encodes a transposase with high transposition efficiency. The transposase encoded by the RNA may be, e.g., a transposase of the invention that is characterized by a reduced half-life while retaining full integration efficiency. The invention also provides vectors and cells for the expression of said transposase and/or RNA, kits and pharmaceutical compositions comprising said transposase and/or RNA, e.g., for use in gene therapy, e.g., adoptive T cell therapy, or uses and methods for gene delivery into the genome of a cell.

    Embodiments of the present application provide a base station antenna and a base station. The base station antenna comprises a first antenna array, a metasurface lens, and a second antenna array; the metasurface lens is located between the second antenna array and a first radiator of a radiation unit of the first antenna array; and the metasurface lens is used for reflecting radiation signals of the first antenna array, and performing wavefront phase regulation and transmission on radiation signals of the second antenna array, so that the radiation signals of the second antenna array penetrating through the metasurface lens are approximately focused into plane waves. The base station comprises the base station antenna. According to the solution, shared-aperture array antennas can be achieved, the defects of mutual shielding of antennas and mutual interference of antenna performance are avoided, the problem of structural interference can be avoided, and the antenna gain can be improved.

    A method and system for calibrating nuclear instrumentation of a reactor is disclosed. The system comprises a reactor configured to operate at a low power level and an external heater configured to heat the reactor to its operating temperature and maintain the reactor in a critical state. The reactor maintains its temperature at a steady state by repeating steps of reducing the heater's power and increasing the reactor's power by changing one or more reactivity settings, wherein the reduced heater's power is compensated by using the increased power generated by the reactor itself. The nuclear instrumentation is configured to measure the reactor's output power and compare it with the calculated reactor's power. Based on the discrepancy between the calculated power and the measured power exceeds a threshold; and the nuclear instrumentation is appropriately calibrated by adjusting one or more settings.
