At least portions of the inner shell radial reinforcing steel bars 27 are located inside a foundation slab 26 of a double-shell reactor containment vessel 20. The inner shell radial reinforcing steel bars 27 are arranged in a radial pattern with a radiation angle centered around the central line of the foundation slab and penetrate an inner shell base section 21a. The outer shell radial reinforcing steel bars 28 are arranged in a radial pattern with a radiation angle centered around the central line of the foundation slab 26 and penetrate an outer shell base section 22a. The common radial reinforcing steel bars 29 penetrate both the inner shell base section 21a and the outer shell base section 22a, and are each a portion of an inner shell radial reinforcing steel bar 27 and a portion of an outer shell radial reinforcing steel bar 28.

A radiation thermometer 37b provided in an LED unit 37 detects light of a wavelength region not including the wavelength of the light output by the LEDs 37a, to measure the temperature of the substrate 11. An emission control part 35 increases or decreases the intensity of the light output by each LED 37a on the basis of the temperature of the substrate 11 measured by the radiation thermometer 37b.

In the method according to the invention, the first elliptical path (EB1) and the second elliptical path (EB2) are adjusted relative to each other in such a way that the signal values (SV) obtained during one revolution belong to a fixed predetermined azimuth angle (ξ) and different polar angles (ψ) with respect to the antenna (1), wherein the predetermined azimuth angle (ξ) represents an angle of rotation about the main beam direction (HS) and the different polar angles (ψ) represent angles of inclination relative to the main beam direction (HS).
